Dungeonborne Swordmaster Best Build, Stats and Guide

Dungeonborne Swordmaster Best Build, Stats and Guide

In Dungeonborne, Swordmaster is an Elf Melee Class. What makes Swordmater great is his ability to reduce damage taken by 50% and his ability to heal from launching swords from a rage. Swordmaster is not for every player. You need a lot of skill in order to successfully play it. A lot of players hate Swordmaster because you need a full inventory of swords that are used by his skill, so you will not be able to loot a lot.

That is why you should use Swordmaster only for PVP, not PVE. If you kill enemy players, you will find it difficult to loot anything because swords take up a significant amount of inventory space. The only things that you should loot are items that require a small slot in inventory, like rings, one-handed hand swords, and necks.

Swordmaster Skills

When it comes to Swordmaster’s skills in Dungeonborne, there are only two available: Psionic Blades and Whirling Blade.

Psionic Blades is a skill that will pull out 2-4 swords, and you have to launch them at the enemy. It deals damage, and if you have an additional passive skill from strength, it will heal you. The higher the quality of the sword, the more damage it will inflict. Keep in mind that after you use Psionic Blades, you will lose swords, so be careful what quality of swords you are using. One tip for new players: If you go to stash, there is a gear wheel next to four swords on the right side of the screen. Click on it, and you will be able to select what swords the game will put automatically for Psionic Blades

Whirling Blade is an incredibly powerful skill. What this skill will do is summon a sword around you that will attack the enemy if it is in a rage. This is extremely useful if you want to interrupt an enemy’s heavy attack. What is most important about Whirling Blade is that if you get stamina on 36, you will unlock 50% reduction damage when Whirling Blade is activated. This is huge, and it will make you so tanky.

Psionic Blades Psionic Blades: The Swordmaster summons up to 4 Psionic Blades from their sword slots to track and attack enemies, dealing 62.75(80.00%) damage. The cooldown of the skill is determined by the of swords launched. Using swords of Uncommon or higher quality will increase the damage.

Whirling Blade Whirling Blade: The Swordmaster summons 1 sword from the sword slots to continuously orbit around themselves for 8 seconds. During this time, the sword attack nearby enemies, each dealing damage.

Swordmaster Stats and Passive Skills

When it comes to Passive Skills and Stats for Swordmaster build your main focus should be:

Stamina: Stamina is the most important stat to proc for Swordmaster. When you reach 36 stamina, all damage you take will be reduced by 50%, which is huge. Without getting stamina to 36, you will lose so much value. Basically, it is not worth playing Swordmaster if you do not reach 36 stamina.

Strength: Strength is another important stat for Swordmaster. When you reach 54 strength, Psionic Blades will heal you. So each sword that you throw will heal you. This is extremely useful against range units that will not be able to block them.

Dexterity: Get dexterity to 35 after you manage to get Stamina and Strength. With Dexterity on 35, you will unlock passive skills that will increase your critical strike chance by 50% after using Psionic Blades. Incredibly useful if you want to burn enemy players down.

Will: Will is not that important. If you are able to have it, that would be great. If not, do not worry about it. Some players are using the will, but for some strange builds that require a unique playstyle. Stamina, Strength, and Dexterity are much more important.

Intelligence and Faith do not provide any value for Swordmaster, so skip them.

Healing Scabbard Healing Scabbard: Activation Condition: Strength: 54 [Psionic Blades] restores 30 Life to the Swordmaster when it deals unblocked damage.
Activation Condition: Strength: 54

Momentum Momentum: [Psionic Blades] increases y:.ur Critical Strike Chance by 50% for 5 seconds after hitting an enemy.

Crippling Strike Crippling Strike: If [Psionic Blades] critically hits an enemy, the enemy’s movement speed is reduced by 60 for 5 seconds.

Swordmaster Weapons and Equipment

Swordmasters can use a lot of different weapons in Dungeonborne: One-Handed Swords, Crossbows, Shields, and Two-Handed Swords. What you will choose depends on your playstyle and stats.

  • Two-Handed Sword + One-Handed Sword and Shield
  • Two-Handed Sword + 2x One-Handed Sword

Two-Handed Sword: Two-Handed Sword is a must for Swordmaster build. With a Two-Handed Sword, you will get a lot of stats, but most importantly, you will be able to burst down the enemy. So what you want to do is attack an enemy player with 4 Psionic Blades, throw Thunderclap Flask, and then finish him with a Two-Handed Sword. If enemy players start to DPS you, just use Whirling Blade, which will interrupt his heavy attack, and if you have stamina on 36, you will receive a 50% damage reduction. It is incredibly strong if you manage to start a fight like this. If you are fighting against an enemy that is using a shield, then a two-handed sword is a perfect weapon. With a heavy attack using a Two-Handed sword, you are able to break through his defense. Without a Two-Handed Sword, you will be extremely limited.

Swords: Swords are great, and you can do a lot of damage, but they are limited against players who can block them. With swords, you will have a hard time breaking defense.

One-Handed Sword and Shield: Great weapons when you are going on a budget. This is primarily to increase stats, while you will not use it a lot for fighting. The only time when you will use it is against enemies that attack from range, like a rogue class with crossbows. You want to burst down the enemy, so you need damage, not block, in melee fights.

Crossbow: You can use Crossbow if you want to play safe, but from our testing, it is not worth using it.

Equipment and Equipment Stats

For Swordmaster Equipment and Heirlooms, create a combination of Strength, Stamina, and Dexterity so you can get the 3 most important skills. Additionally, you should aim for stats that can enhance your damage, such as an increase in Max Damage on kill stacks, crit damage, and critical damage. You want to have as much damage as possible to ensure that you can burst down the enemy. If you do not manage to burst down the enemy and you wasted Psionic Blades and Whirling Blades, you will have a hard time.
